June 2026 TANF Payment Dates: When Your EBT Cash Benefits Will Arrive by State

If you receive Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), expect your June 2026 cash benefits to be loaded onto your EBT card sometime between the 1st and the 10th of the month in many states, but exact dates vary by location.

Why dates vary

TANF is run by state and local agencies, so there’s no single national deposit date.

Your exact payout day depends on where you live and how your state schedules payments, often using identifiers such as case number, client ID, or Social Security Number.

How to verify your exact date

Contact your state or county TANF office directly by phone or in person at your local office to verify your exact June 2026 benefit deposit date. You can also check your case balance and scheduled payout using the Benefits.gov Benefit Finder.

Additionally, watch for notices from your caseworker or state agency, as many states now send alerts via text, email, or mail when TANF benefits are loaded onto your EBT card.

Quick checklist for beneficiaries

  • Save your case number, client ID, or EDG number so you can reference it when checking.

  • Monitor your EBT balance starting the 1st of June.

  • If you don’t receive benefits by the end of your state’s payout range, call your local TANF office.
